Identification:

German Cockroach adults are easily recognized by their light brown or tan coloration with two black horizontal stripes located immediately behind the head, and can grow to the length of 13-16 mm. The nymphs (young), are a darker color, close to black in color, and black stripes behind the head. While adult German cockroaches have wings, they rarely fly.

Habitat:

German cockroaches are typically an indoor pests, with a preference for warm and humid areas of a structure. These pests will typically be found in kitchens and bathrooms, but will move to other areas of the home if conditions allow.
